I'd describe myself as a fun-loving, active, wife, mother, home mortgage consultant. Been married to my husband 31 years in July, 2012. We've had a lot of fun. He's my rock. I have two fabulous children; Amber (30) and Sam (29) whom I'm lucky to consider friends. I'm so proud of all that they've accomplished. I've worked in the mortgage industry since 1991. Been at Wells Fargo since Sept 2005. In my spare time, I like to watch tv, shop, exercise, hang out with family & friends, spend time outdoors and travel. I don't think I have one thing that I'm passionate about except maybe life, and everything that I do in it. If I do something, I like to do it with passion and do it well, otherwise I wouldn't do it. I like winning. I'm going to approach cancer with passion and excitement to learn. I decided to start a blog for 4 reasons: 1) when I win the battle I can look back and reflect on some of the things I went through, 2) share my feelings, treatment, and activities with others in a way that they can see what's going any time, 3) help others that may be going through the same kind of cancer, and 4) help myself to feel in control of what is happening in a small way. I have another blog at cathyscancer.blogspot.com that I started when I found out about the cancer.

Eat healthy, drink tons of water, gargle with Biotene, work, rest, play, use a really good cell protection balm, take immodium.
It helps to have lots of love, support, and prayers.

None really, but about 3 months before colonoscopy had some swelling and bleeding down there. Thought it might be hemorrhoids. If it happened a second time I was going to check it.
